Spice Route Red Blend 2022 Limited Edition
This limited-edition blend comes from decomposed granite soils in Paarl and Swartland. Old bushvine Grenache and Cinsault deliver concentrated fruit, while Shiraz adds savoury depth and structure. The team hand-harvested the grapes and fermented them in stainless steel to preserve freshness. Gentle pump-overs built colour and flavour without overpowering the fruit. Consequently, the wine feels lively, bright, and fruit driven. Red berries, soft spice, and subtle florals lead into a refreshing finish framed by fine tannins.
Spice Route Chakalaka 2023
The Spice Route Chakalaka 2023 comes from unirrigated bush vines planted in Koffieklip and Oakleaf soils in the Swartland. The grapes fermented in open concrete fermenters before ageing in seasoned French and American oak barrels. As a result, the wine shows depth and complexity while retaining freshness. Dark berries, black tea, cocoa, and sweet oak rise on the nose, while the palate layers cranberry, red berries, cinnamon, and clove spice. Fresh tannins and a velvety finish complete this rich and expressive blend.
