Terra de Bron

Our single vineyard series pays homage to our natural environment through carefully chosen pockets of deep, decomposed granite soils and rocky shale, producing small batches of wine which illustrate transparency of place.
The series is named after ‘De Bron’ – an Old Dutch nickname for the town of Malmesbury which referred to the thermal spring that attracted people from the Cape to the warm dry air of the Swartland. Klein Amoskuil farm relies on winter rainfall and the underground spring as its sole source of hydration.
